Wage Bill & Payroll Debate: A fixed cost or opportunity for soft cost savings?

ADP, the leading payroll service provider, will be holding a groundbreaking debate on 28 May, bringing together representatives from payroll, HR and finance, to discuss managing the wage bill and payroll during an economic slowdown.

The debate will be chaired by ITN's Penny Marshall and panel members include:

Issues to be discussed include: improving the efficiency of payroll, how to add value to the business through payroll and whether it should be the responsibility of HR or finance. The audience will have the opportunity to participate in the debate.

Don McGuire, Managing Director, ADP, commented: "The wage bill accounts for 50 - 80% of an organisation's revenue and it is easy to think that payroll costs are a fixed part of this. However, in light of the current economic climate, businesses should be looking at areas where they can increase efficiency and cut costs. Payroll is one area that is often neglected."
