We have been informed by the Institute of Fundraising that there is a small error in the information we published in the newsletter of 12 November 2004 about the new Payroll Giving grant scheme.

The amount of the grants will depend on each employer's count of employees, as follows:

• Employers with 0 - 199 employees: £;300
  
  
• Employers with 200 - 249 employees: £;400
  
  
• Employers with 250 - 499 employees: £;500
  
  

In addition, we can confirm that the grants will apply retrospectively to schemes that have been set up since 6 April 2004.

The full launch of the scheme will take place on 26 January, and full details will be provided in the first newsletter after that date.
