The Inland Revenue has published

  • a simple report form to be used instead of form 42 by newly incorporated companies. This is only for reporting shares that have been acquired during year ending 5 April 2005 by directors/employees and that do not have any restrictions attached to them. For 42 must still be used for any other reportable events.

  • a new booklet Employment-related Securities - Reportable events - Help with Form 42, explaining the circumstances in which form 42 and the new simple report form should be used and including numerous examples.
