Student Loan Deductions - New guidance for employers

The Inland Revenue's new CD-ROM includes a new booklet E17 Collection of Student Loans - An employer's guide to collection of student loans. The threshold above which deductions are made is £15,000 from 6 April 2005. The weekly equivalent of the threshold is £288.46 (£15,000 ÷ 52); the month equivalent is £1,250(£15,000 ÷ 12).
A new version of SL3 Student Loan Deduction Tables is also on the new CD-ROM, and the disk also includes a Student Loan Deduction calculator.
