The Inland Revenue has warned employers that, because some recipients of Working Tax Credit have failed to send in their renewal forms for 2004/05 by the 30 September 2004 deadline, there will be an increased number of stop notices issued in October and, when the employees concerned realise that their payments have stopped, an increased number of start notices following receipt of their claims.
