Governor Fletcher has signed House Bill 305 into law. The state's minimum wage increases to $5.85 per hour from July 1, 2007, to $6.55 from July 1, 2008 and to $7.25 from July 1, 2009. If the federal minimum hourly wage is increased in excess of Kentucky's minimum hourly wage, the legislation provides that Kentucky's minimum hourly wage will be increased simultaneously to the same amount.
