State-wide minimum wage from January 2008 - New Mexico

Governor Richardson signed Senate Bill 324 on March 23 to raise the minimum wage to $6.50 from January 1, 2008, and to $7.50 from January 1, 2009. The new law will not impact higher minimum wages already in effect in Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
