Earned income tax credit
Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is a refundable federal income tax credit for low-income working individuals and families. The IRS has developed the Tax Preparer Electronic Toolkit to help tax professionals make sure their clients who are entitled to EITC file accurate tax returns.
