New South Wales - public holiday during the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation Summit

The NSW Government has announced details of a public holiday to coincide with the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) Summit to be held in Sydney in September 2007. The public holiday applies for the Sydney metropolitan area only and has been declared to minimise disruption to the general public following extensive consultation with employer groups and unions.
