Canada Payroll News - Tax convention with Romania

The governments of both Canada and Romania have completed the necessary procedures to bring into force the Convention between the two countries for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion. The Convention enters into force on December 31, 2004 and has effect for taxation years starting on or after January 1, 2005.
