HMRC Booklets - Errors corrected in CWG2 Employer Further Guide

HMRC has published a new version of the CWG2 Employer Further Guide to PAYE and NICs in order to correct a number of errors that have been identified. Some of the errors have already been corrected in version 2 of the CWG2 issued on the Budget issue of the Employer CD-ROM. The new version 3 is available to download from HMRC’s website at the link provided below. The paper edition will not be updated but a correction supplement is available. The Employer CD-ROM will not be reissued.

The changes are only corrections to textual errors and do not affect HMRC’s guidance on any the subject areas concerned.

Note: Both the correction supplement and the new version of the CWG2 contained pdf reproduction faults when they were first published on HMRC’s website. If you download either or both of the documents, please check that figures in the P14 example forms on pages 43 to 59 of the full CWG2 and on page 3 of the supplement are clearly reproduced.
