Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust’s ‘Adaptive ESR Payroll Project’ has been shortlisted for the Healthcare People Management Association Awards in the category ‘Innovation and Best Practice Using ESR’.

The awards consider the business need, project design, evaluation, measurable benefits, difference to patient or client care and how the learning is shared with other Trusts.

Michele Salter, Associate Finance Director at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust said: “The Trust has introduced an innovative, adaptive and responsive outsourced payroll service for 10,000 employees utilising ESR and creating efficiencies and cost savings. We’re very excited that the originality of this project has been recognised by the HPMA.”

ESR consultant Mervyn McCormick from Equiniti ICS who developed the project in partnership with the Trust said: “We are very proud to have been partners on this project and wish the Trust best of luck in the awards.”

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on 25 June.
