Levi Strauss UK Ltd make a genius purchase in the form of TeamSpirit

TeamSpirit Software Limited, the leading provider of integrated HR, Payroll and Time & Attendance systems to the mid market, is delighted to announce a brand new 5-year contract with clothing manufacturer and retailer, Levi Strauss UK Ltd.
Levi Strauss UK Ltd is a multi-site organisation covering head office functions, Distribution, and Sales and Retail which employs approximately 600 monthly paid staff administered with a combination of 4-weekly and two calendar month payrolls. Whilst Levi’s® was already using an in-house payroll system they were managing attendance and absence hours using spreadsheets.
In an attempt to improve the way in which timesheets are currently managed and enhance the communication of absence and attendance information between Levi’s® head office in Northampton and its Store Managers, Levi’s® has purchased TeamSpirit’s Payroll, P11D, Web based Manager Access and Employee Self-Service modules.
TeamSpirit Account Manager, Mike Alston commented, “We are delighted to be working with such a prestigious household name as Levi Strauss. Implementation of our TeamSpirit system will provide Levi’s® with a wealth of new tools to increase the efficiency of its current operation. In particular, the timesheet functionality within our Web based Manager Access module will significantly improve Levi’s® current processes by reducing the time taken to input data and will improve data integrity.”
Michelle Terry, HR Manager for Levi Strauss UK Ltd commented, “We are confident that our implementation of the TeamSpirit system will allow us to overcome a number of business issues. For the first time we will be able to produce management reports at the click of a button including weekly costing reports and hours reports which can be emailed to remote managers allowing them to make better informed business decisions.”
Web based Manager Access will allow 35 Store Managers at Levi’s® 28 UK stores to access the main TeamSpirit system via an internet or intranet link providing the facility for fast and accurate entry of timesheet data.
TeamSpirit Payroll will ‘Go Live’ in October, followed by TeamSpirit WebEnbled Manager Access and Employee Self-Service in February 2009.
