The Labour Relations Agency has advised employers in Northern Ireland that the reforms to employment law from 6 April, namely the new dispute resolution provisions and the right to request flexible working, apply to Great Britain but not to Northern Ireland.

Employment law in Northern Ireland is the responsibility of the Northern Ireland Executive and changes are subject to local consultation with a view to possible future enactment.
