Softworld Revises Spring Event Calendar

The Softworld Spring show calendar has now been revised as a decision has been taken not to go ahead with Softworld Scotland.

Despite the very positive reaction to the idea of running an event north of the border, exhibiting companies are now finding that a widespread reduction in marketing budgets has meant that fewer companies were able to take part than anticipated. This in turn meant that the organisers were not happy to go ahead with what would have been a lesser event.

Meanwhile, Softworld North will now run only on Tuesday February 10th, at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton, Greater Manchester. “In this larger venue we have space to run the HR & Payroll and Accounting & Finance shows alongside one another to create a larger event”, said Andy Mather, Portfolio Director responsible for the event. “Exhibitors and visitors will benefit, as we find that around a quarter of the audience like to visit both areas when they run alongside one another” he added.

The Softworld team is now totally focused on making the London and North shows a success for visitors and exhibitors alike.
