(London, 11 November 2008) Alexander Forbes and Thomsons Online Benefits announce a new five year contract for the continued delivery of Alexander Forbes innovative “XtraPay” platform.
XtraPay is an employee benefits service delivering core and flexible benefits through one to one advice and online support. The online platform has been created exclusively for Alexander Forbes using Thomsons’ award-winning Perquisite™ technology. XtraPay puts a big company approach to employee benefits within reach of all companies, particularly those in the SME market place.
Commenting on the announcement David Marlow, Director at Alexander Forbes said: “This is great news for our business and clients, ensuring as it does, that we can build on our successes so far in providing contemporary employee benefit services, with cutting edge web technology. We are very bullish about XtraPay and all its benefits, including the platform, which has performed brilliantly throughout its testing and initial launch phase.”
Michael Whitfield, Chief Executive Officer of Thomsons Online Benefits, added: “We are delighted to announce our continued partnership with Alexander Forbes. Apart from ourselves, we see them as the only employee benefit adviser that has successfully grasped the nettle of driving employee benefits by a technology platform. As a result they have actually begun to change the behaviour of their consultants and clients so that they embrace this concept fully together - a move which will continue to elevate them above their peers.
“Alexander Forbes’ commitment to XtraPay is already reaping dividends for them and their clients. It allows benefits to be tailored for company’s and individuals’ needs, helping to demonstrate one of the FSA’s key current drivers, that of “treating customers fairly” which will make them the envy of the IFA community. With 30 employers already implemented, and a further 20 on the XtraPay production line for launch by Christmas 2008, XtraPay has already enabled Alexander Forbes to bring flexible benefits to the SME market and win significant levels of business. We believe that the next five years will see them dominate this space.”
