Working Time Solutions, the UK’s leading experts in effective working time change, is to host a Working Time Masterclass on 10th July 2008.
The Masterclass, which will take place at Loughborough University, just a mile from J23 of the M1, from 9:30am – 4:30pm, will feature speakers from within industry, presentations and case studies to discuss how businesses can better balance workforce supply with business demand and reduce costs.
The Masterclass will cover topics such as:
- Working time change – the analysis of supply and demand for labour
- Shift pattern design and overcoming dependency on overtime
- Introducing new ways to work in a volatile or seasonal business
- The understanding of shift work and its impact on health and safety
The event will feature advice from working time change specialists and guest speakers from leading companies who have successfully introduced working time change strategies such as Steve Jackson, logistics and planning director from PPG Architectural Coatings. Trevor F. Shaw, Head of Human Factors from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) will also be outlining the Health and Safety issues related to shift working in the UK.
