Hi All,
I was looking for a free payroll software and found a couple of them in the HMRC Accredition List. Pls check www.payroo.com ..its free and very simple to use.. and also found another package.... www.ableinternetpayroll.com they are offering **6MTHS Free Trial**

To save others time, the Payoo.com website is either up for sale or the site is down at the moment ... so I guess free software isn't the way forward for them.

oops!!! sorry .. it is www.payroo.com u can also chk abt the same in the HMRC Accredition List- http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/ebu/acclist.htm ..and can anybody recommended a payroll software tht u hav used?? other than the ones tht i have found....

I have looked at (though not used) 12pay. This is also on HMRC accredited list and is totally free, with the option to upgrade to premier version for £40.
I gave the details to a bookkeeper of one of our clients and she is using it on a regular basis and seems to find it OK. Details are at www.12pay.co.uk _________________ Mary Wallace MMPA
Not sure if you are sorted now and what your situation is, but I have just been on a HMRC workshop for taking on new empoyees and they provide a CD rom which you can use for payroll.
