Survey to Identify the Impact on Organizational Performance: Analyzing Trends and Strategies in Technologies Adoption and Service Delivery Approaches
ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA - JUNE 8, 2006 - CedarCrestone is requesting participation in the CedarCrestone 2006 Workforce Technologies and HR Service Delivery Approaches Survey, 9th Annual Editionm. This is the most comprehensive research effort designed to provide organizations with important data to plan, justify and execute HR technologies initiatives.
In prior years, the CedarCrestone surveys have focused on self service and portals, citing how these are used to transform service delivery and contribute to organizational performance. This year we are expanding the survey to focus more deeply on emerging strategic human capital management applications and on analytics and metrics used in organizations. Research areas include identifying the following for organizations around the world:
- Plans for applications
- scope of investments
- financial impact of initiatives
Survey questions also cover service delivery approaches, specifically addressing plans for both in-house and outsourced service delivery.
"The results from last year's Survey indicate that workforce technologies have accelerated HR's continued evolution from an administrative to a strategic role, and that a service delivery approach blending high-touch with high-tech yields significant financial and strategic benefits. Several technologies contribute to operating income growth. But not all industries have reaped the potential benefits yet," said Alexia Martin, Director of Research and Analytics at CedarCrestone and author of past survey white papers. CedarCrestone plans to investigate these trends further in the 2006 Survey by expanding the participant pool to include HR management as well as HR information technologies respondents.
CedarCrestone invites HR and IT representatives from organizations in all industries (including commercial corporations, public sector entities and educational institutions) with over 500 employees to participate in the 2006 survey. Participants will receive an advance copy of the results available in the October/November 2006 timeframe. The survey is available online at www.CedarCrestone.com/wftv23 and will take less than 30 minutes to complete.
