Cattles improves expense management by outsourcing to Ceridian Centrefile
|
Cattles plc, a leading provider of specialist financial services in the UK, has outsourced the management of expense claims for 4,550 of its employees to Ceridian Centrefile. The move will allow management to have tighter control over employee expenses throughout its UK network and provide a more efficient service for employees.
Previously, Cattles' employee expenses were handled through a traditional paper-based claim form process. The new solution includes the provision of a secure web-based system for employees to submit their claims online and monitor the process of authorisation. Claims are authorised through an automated workflow process, while Ceridian Centrefile manages the administration, including checking receipts, investigating any policy exceptions, and processing payments to the employees. Online reporting allows Cattles to investigate areas of concern and monitor expenditure.
Bob Paton, Financial Controller, at Cattles, says: "Ceridian Centrefile helped us to more closely define our expenses policy and to roll out the new service to our employees. We now have much closer control over the expense claim process, which when fully implemented will save us money whilst also providing a better service to our employees."
Larry Byrne, director of Ceridian Managed Services, says: "Managed expenses is a good example of how outsourcing an administrative process can add real value to a business. Research shows that our managed expenses service can save businesses up to 65% of the cost of a manual paper-based system, and settle claims up to 75% faster."
