EDISON, N.J. - April 26, 2006--CheckPoint HR, LLC, an innovator and leading Administrative Service Organization (ASO) that offers small- to mid-size organizations a single source for human resources, payroll and benefits solutions, today announced at HRO World 2006 two major customer wins within the non-profit sector with Care Plus New Jersey and the manufacturing industry though Hamon USA.
Hamon USA specializes in the design, engineering, fabrication and construction of chimneys, heat exchangers, heat recovery and pollution control systems. Hamon USA has selected CheckPoint HR to automate its intricate payroll operations that are comprised of salaried and hourly union employees.
"Our previous payroll vendor could not handle our union employee payroll needs. CheckPoint HR's payroll solution allows us to integrate an internal system used to run the fringe reports and deduct the correct amounts that need to be sent to the various unions," said Phyllis Kaesler, Payroll Benefits Administrator, Hamon USA. "On a given week, we could have 200 workers at different project sites in three different states and 50 the next at a New Jersey location so our selected solution needed to be flexible, versatile and scalable to accommodate various calculations under different scenarios of hours worked/hours paid." According to Kaesler, CheckPoint HR has cut costs dramatically since Hamon USA has eliminated the need to outsource the hourly payroll to a leasing company.

With 325 employees served by a HR department comprised of five staffers, Care Plus, NJ was not pleased with its previous payroll provider that was unresponsive, pricey and offered a dated HR product.
