A new name, new management and new ownership jumpstart the reemergence of the HR industry veteran

CHICAGO - Cyborg, a licensed Human Resources and Payroll services organization, announced today they are rebranding the company and changing their name to Accero, Inc., effective immediately. The company's recent acquisition by Vista Equity Partners, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, prompted the change.

"We are thrilled to reenter the market as a privately held entity. Excitement about our new name, brand and direction has energized our employees throughout the company," said Rose Brintlinger, Vice President and General Manager. The name is representative of the 'Accessible' solutions, support and service the company has built its 30-year reputation on as well as the 'Acceleration' into the future with new leadership, focus and competitive spirit. "We will continue to provide the robust, best-fit solutions and world-class support our customers depend on, while making new investments in R&D to continue to innovate and grow our suite of products in months and years to come," said Tom Malone, Accero's newly named CEO.

The Accero product family includes five industry-leading solutions, praised by customers for their easy customization, compliance and security. Regions Financial has been a loyal customer for 12 years and is also a member of the CUA, the independent user association for Accero products. New Executive Team

In addition to Accero's new CEO, Tom Malone, a seasoned software industry executive who has spent the last 12 years of his career holding "C" level positions, Accero announces today the appointment of Jay Nichols, Vice President of Sales. With more than 25 years of experience, Jay has devoted the bulk of his career to leading the sales organizations of high-growth information technology companies.
