InterContinental Hotels Group selects HRM Connect to support succession planning and reward

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), the world's largest and most global hotel company with more than 3,500 hotels across nearly 100 countries and territories, has chosen HRM Software's web-native HRM Connect solutions to support two key global initiatives; management development, resourcing and succession planning; and annual merit review management.

David House, Senior Vice President and Head of Reward, explains. "With an organization of our size, complexity and geographic diversity, there is a significant challenge associated with managing global initiatives effectively."

"One of our priorities is the development of our people across the world and so we are further strengthening our global succession planning, resourcing and management development. HRM Software's HRM Connect Executive enables a consistent approach, allowing us to bring together and analyse the information we need from across the whole organization."

For annual merit review, HRM Connect will replace IHG's existing spreadsheet application. House explains, "HRM Connect allows us to take advantage of the benefits of web technologies to manage our annual merit review process much more effectively. We'll be able to deploy the system across the whole of IHG more easily, ensuring a greater level of consistency, and at the same time gaining greater control and transparency over the whole process."
