IRIS plugs a gap in the payroll market with launch of IRIS Payroll Lite
March 2008
IRIS has plugged a gap in the market for a low cost, easy to use single company payroll system with the launch of IRIS Payroll Lite. The competitive pricing of the product, £129, is a significant feature of the product and will allow small companies and start-ups, employing up to 10 staff, to run their own payrolls at a fraction of the cost of outsourcing.
The fully inclusive annual licence fee promises no hidden costs emerging during the year and entitles the user to free upgrades and year round support from a company with a reputation for the lowest wait times in the industry. At payroll year end 2007, the wait time for telephone support for IRIS payroll products, averaged one minute.
The integration between IRIS Payroll Lite and IRIS P11D provides an important differentiator in the market. Small firms, have up until now, been precluded from implementing integrated suites of software because they were unaffordable.
The real strength of IRIS Payroll Lite lies in its sheer ease of use. It will enable staff with no previous payroll experience, to manage the payroll quickly and easily. The 'Getting Started Guide' included with the software provides detailed information on how to configure a company and then takes the user through a series of easy to follow steps that will allow them to run their payroll confidently and with complete accuracy.
The comprehensive software is fully accredited by HMRC, enabling on-line filing and allows users to take advantage of HMRC financial incentives. It includes, as standard, an absence diary which fully automates the calculation of statutory sick and parental pay. IRIS Payroll Lite caters for BACS payments and provides the user with a comprehensive payroll preview to check tax and NI calculations.
