LogicaCMG is a stream sponsor of Shared Services Week, the flagship event of the Shared Services and Outsourcing Network, at the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam, 8 - 11 May, 2006. Alongside demonstrations and information about LogicaCMG's Finance & Accounting and HR & Payroll shared services capabilities, LogicaCMG will host a workshop dedicated to optimising and accelerating mature shared services organisations, based on their wealth of global experience across a broad range of countries, industries and functional areas.
The workshop, on Monday 8 May at 09.00, will outline a proven three-step success plan to help companies to identify and exploit opportunities to optimise and then accelerate their shared services environment.
This will be followed, on Wednesday 10 May at 11.00, by a LogicaCMG customer presentation from Peter Stadhouders, Director of Human Resources at PCM Uitgevers, one of the largest publishers in the Dutch language region. Peter will discuss the benefits PCM Uitgevers has achieved through outsourcing its payroll processing to LogicaCMG in 2005 and how they are now starting to centralise their HR administration as well.
LogicaCMG not only implements shared services for its clients, but also reaps the benefits of its own Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC) in Bangalore, to which it has outsourced its own UK Finance & Accounting function. Further information about this award-winning initiative will be available on the stand. There will also be demonstrations available on LogicaCMG's Total Invoice Management solution, a key supporting technology in the successful delivery of the programme, which has reduced the average time taken to process supplier invoices from seven days down to just three.
Leopold Loop, managing director of the international HR & Payroll business at LogicaCMG, comments: "This is an excellent opportunity for us to show businesses what we have to offer in the shared services field. Our Finance Shared Service Centre in Bangalore won 'best in-house consultancy' at the Management Consultancy Association awards in April this year and we have recently signed a contract with Gendarmerie Nationale to upgrade its HR system which looks after 100,000 employees based at 4,300 sites in France. LogicaCMG has a strong position in the shared services arena, particularly with regards to Finance & Accounting and HR & Payroll services."
LogicaCMG is the partner of choice, both with organisations who are just starting to investigate the benefits of shared service centres and with companies who are looking to optimise their already established shared service operations. LogicaCMG is seen as the enabler for change in IT and Business Process Outsourcing and specifically focuses on transformation, as change is the only constant in any organisation. In the last decade, LogicaCMG has invested heavily in setting up delivery capabilities in different global locations in order to provide customers with the right blend of on- and offshore delivery to meet their specific business needs and objectives.
