Dubai, UAE, United Arab Emirates, 07/09/2006 - Integrated system to improve performance and productivity of bank personnel towards meeting growing needs.
Raya Corporation, a leading player in the field of Information Technology and Telecommunications in the Middle East, has successfully completed the Banque Saudi Fransi Automation Project. The project involves establishing an efficient, automated and fully integrated system for management of human resources (HR) and payroll processes at one of the leading providers of comprehensive financial services and products in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other markets. A Saudi Arabian joint stock company, Banque Saudi Fransi is affiliated with Calyon of France, which is rated among the world's top ten banks by total equity.
Raya, an advanced Oracle Partner, was selected for this project on the recommendation of the global enterprise software vendor. The year long project was taken up in order to help streamline HR procedures towards improving the performance and productivity of the bank's employees and managers and enabling the prominent Saudi financial institution to pursue its growing needs that its earlier customised and limited HR system could no longer address.
Fawaz Bogis, HR Automation Manager, Banque Saudi Fransi said: "Raya was the right choice to implement this essential business solution because of its status as an advanced Oracle Partner with regional reach. Raya's broad experience in this field, its highly qualified professionals, and its track record of successfully executing similar projects for a variety of prestigious companies in the Middle East, has made the company a valuable partner in helping Banque Saudi Fransi achieve its organisational and corporate goals."
By deploying the Oracle HRMS and Payroll solution, Raya implemented fully integrated HR and payroll processes that support all types of employment progression and career management and serve as a one-stop-shop for information required to make key HR decisions. The project involved identifying Banque Saudi Fransi's sophisticated HR requirements through extensive meetings with different departments within the bank, training the management to switch to the new system as well as migrating massive amounts of bank data from the old to the new system. With the completion of the project, the Bank is able to achieve its objectives of gaining customer loyalty by providing efficient and high-quality services to its expanding base of local and international clients.
Ashraf Sabry, Vice Chairman and CEO IT, Raya, said: "We are proud of our involvement in implementing the Oracle business solution for an organisation of the stature of Banque Saudi Fransi. The project threw up various challenges that Raya was able to meet with its wide experience and expertise, towards helping the bank achieve its ambitious targets. This project represents yet another success for us in the Saudi Arabian market and adds to our track record as a regional IT pioneer."
