Economa Oy, which offers financial administration solutions and services in Finland, and Economa BS AB, which offers similar services in Sweden, will change their names to Personec Financials Oy and Personec Financials AB, respectively, at the beginning of July. Both companies are members of the Personec Group.

Personec Oy and Personec AB, which specialise in HR administration software and services, already operate under the name Personec. Their business operations will continue unchanged. Economa's name change will not affect the operations of the future Personec Financials.

"Our intention is to further reinforce our Nordic Personec brand," says Markku J. Tuominen, Senior Vice President Communications at Personec. "Our financial and HR administration businesses are also converging all the time; for instance, demand for outsourcing and consulting services is on the increase in both sectors. The message we wish to convey by operating under one trademark is that we offer products and services that enhance our customers' business support processes as one Personec throughout the Nordic region.

The introduction of our Personec trademark on the market has been very successful. Our awareness has actually increased faster than we expected," Tuominen explains.
