MINNEAPOLIS - Sept. 7, 2006 - Combined Solution Provides Service-Driven Companies More Accurate Time-Keeping Capabilities by Automatically Feeding Field Workers' Hours and Activities into Payroll and Time and Attendance Systems
Gearworks, a leading provider of mobile workforce management software, announced today a strategic partnership with Points North, an industry leader in data integration solutions, to provide service-driven companies direct integration of mobile data to leading payroll, time and attendance, and job cost processing systems, such as Ceridian, ADP, Timberline, Great Plains, MAS 200/90 and Kronos.
Points North's new TLM Link solution takes information collected by Gearworks' etrace(R) -- a wireless and Web-based solution that leverages GPS-enabled mobile devices to provide customers real-time visibility and control of field workers' hours and activities -- and automatically organizes and forwards it to customers' payroll, time and attendance and job cost processing systems. The result is more accurate and efficient time- and record-keeping capabilities for companies that depend on dispatched mobile workers.
"For field service organizations, keeping accurate track of various employees' time, tasks and locations manually can be overwhelming and lead to record-keeping errors, with considerable loss to the bottom line," said Todd Krautkremer, chief executive officer for Gearworks. "The powerful combination of etrace and TLM Link provides organizations of all sizes a seamless flow of vital information from field workers to company systems."
