T4G Selects Q9 Networks To Ensure Mobile Workforce Stays Connected

August 2006

TORONTO, Aug. 1 - Q9 Networks Inc., a leading provider of outsourced Internet infrastructure and related managed services, is pleased to announce it has been selected by T4G Ltd. to host critical database, email and time and attendance applications that support T4G's mobile workforce and remote offices.

T4G, one of the country's fastest growing technology consulting firms, offers innovative solutions to many leading Canadian and international corporations and governments, including Bell Canada, Tourism British Columbia, LL Bean, Onex Corp., Reader's Digest, Sears Canada, the Province of New Brunswick, Staples Business Depot, Victoria's Secret and many others.

"About two-thirds of T4G's approximately 200 employees work remotely on a regular basis, from their homes and client offices," says Geoff Flood, President, T4G. "It's critical that our corporate applications be available to them on a 24x7 basis. And, as we continue to expand across Canada, it's vital that we have the technology infrastructure to support our national growth, especially so that our employees can work productively anywhere and at any time."

In addition to its Toronto headquarters, T4G operates satellite offices in Saint John, Halifax, Charlottetown and Vancouver.

Under the terms of the contract, Q9 is providing T4G with a complete hosting solution including physical space in multiple data centres, reliable power, managed bandwidth and connectivity back to T4G's head office.

"We are growing rapidly and Q9 offers the cost-efficient and secure infrastructure solution we need," adds Flood. "As a technology company ourselves, we know the importance of using the best technology solutions available."

Q9 delivers unparalleled service through an extensive suite of customer care products, including a Web-based portal that provides complete visibility into customer equipment and Q9 services. All Q9 and customer systems are monitored from a Q9 Network Operations Centre (NOC) 24 hours a day, seven days a week. NOC experts are also available to customers on an around-the-clock basis to resolve issues and provide advice.

"Organizations like T4G, with offices and mobile workers across multiple time zones, are demanding a highly reliable and secure platform for critical back-end applications," says Osama Arafat, CEO, Q9 Networks. "With our redundant power and network infrastructure, we are able to guarantee T4G the highest possible reliability, enabling them to focus on growing their business. We are pleased to be contributing to their success."
