Topaz Wins NFT Contract With Honesty Policy

Topaz has won the contract to supply payroll and HR software to NFT Distribution after demonstrating honesty and a willingness to listen.

NFT Distribution, the leading provider of time critical distribution services to the food retail and manufacturing sectors with Northern Foods, Sainsbury's, Asda, Tesco, Marks & Spencer and Morrisons amongst its customers, had scoured the market - looking at eight other possible solutions - before purchasing the integrated Topaz EMS Payroll and HR system.

Now Topaz EMS (Employee Management System) is to play a key role in centralising the HR reporting and administration processes for NFT's seven sites at its head office, for the 1,500 strong workforce.

NFT's reasons for choosing Topaz EMS included -

User friendliness (it came out tops in all solutions reviewed)
The ability to provide in depth value added analysis in areas such as absenteeism and training requirements
Elimination of manual procedures at all sites
Fast and relevant reporting

Sue Bancroft, NFT's HR Manager, was responsible for the implementation of the Topaz payroll system and was more than happy with the support Topaz provided during the project.

"We felt they were very honest and listened to what we wanted rather than just trying to sell us a product," said Sue Bancroft.
