Therma-Tru Doors Handles End-to-End HR, Talent Management, and Payroll with Ultimate Software's Intersourcing

WESTON, Fla. - Ultimate Software, a leading provider of end-to-end strategic human resources, payroll, and talent management solutions, announced today that Therma-Tru Doors, the number one exterior door brand in the United States with approximately 1,300 U.S.-based associates, is experiencing business benefits as a result of using Ultimate Software's UltiPro, including core HRMS/payroll, benefits enrollment, and performance management, through the hosted service model Intersourcing. Therma-Tru intends to roll out additional UltiPro feature-sets - recruitment, time and attendance, and self-service for managers and employees - later this year.
Three years ago, Therma-Tru's HR team decided to overhaul its human resources and payroll processes, and HR executives believed that a new Human Resource Management System (HRMS) was a critical aspect of this objective. After a formal vendor selection and bidding process, Therma-Tru selected UltiPro in March 2006 and began planning and implementing the new solution that the company internally branded as "PeoplePoint".

One service enhancement delivering business benefits to Therma-Tru is UltiPro's benefits enrollment. Companies that implement benefits enrollment enable their associates to review, elect, and submit their benefit elections at home or in the office via the Internet without meeting with a benefits practitioner. With benefits enrollment, associates are able to view and compare current benefits with the costs and designs of new offerings and make choices for the coming year.

With online performance review capabilities, including 360-degree feedback and goal-setting tools, UltiPro Performance Management can help businesses better understand employee competencies, identify and reduce competency gaps, and plan for future workforce needs.
