Croner to Launch New Book Range at CIPD
September 2007
Launch date: 18 September 2007 at CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition, Hall C, Stand 60
London, England, September 19 2007 - HR Professionals will be able to 'chill out' with a book and practical advice at Croner's feng-shui themed stand at this year's CIPD Annual Conference. Croner, part of Wolters Kluwer UK, will be unveiling its new suite of HR and health & safety books at the event, a first for the company and an extension to Croner's popular traditional services.
Priced from just £20, the books include; Croner Employment, Croner Employment: Key Rates & Data, Work and Families 2007 and Disaster Planning.
To mark the launch of the new series and its goal to help employers 'relax' from the plethora of UK workplace law, Richard Smith, employment services director, will be giving presentations throughout the three day conference on a number of topical employment issues. These hourly live talks at Croner's stand will cover paternity leave rights, cultural dress standards, age discrimination, holiday entitlement and more.
And setting the scene, Croner is creating the ideal 'chill out' environment to interpret employment law in a feng shui decorated stand - showing that workplace issues don't have to be complicated.
Croner will also be offering incentives such as a 20% discount on all book orders at CIPD, free puzzle cubes for all visitors, scratch cards where lucky winners can receive a bottle of wine there and then and a free prize draw to win a relaxing health club spa break or a case of wine.
Martin Smith, managing director at Croner, said: "In today's workplace culture, it's essential that HR professionals are fully up to speed with employment issues. These books are a handy reference tool for qualified professionals, who may not have the time and resources to keep up-to-date on every single legislative change or management practice.
"We're extremely pleased that we've been able to bring together all the essential HR and H&S elements in this new product from the Croner name that professionals have grown to trust, and we hope that the launch at CIPD 2007 will be just as successful as our other products have been in previous years."
